FRI OCT 19: Universal Brotherhood of Humanity - w/ Jo Barginear

The first object of the Theosophical Society is the Universal Brotherhood of Humanity. It sounds good and many of us believe in the concept. Yet, when it comes to our daily life, we do not always practice it. Sometimes we choose to react in overt ways, other times, with subtle words and behavior and other times, we are unaware. At this time in our nation’s history, we are currently facing challenging events, and it requires extraordinary measures. What does the Universal Brotherhood of Humanity mean and how can we continue to navigate through these uncertain times.

Join Jo Barginear, speaker, as she explores in depth the first object, Universal Brotherhood of Humanity, which will include sharing your thoughts with the group.

Jo Barginear has been a theosophist for many years and has been active in all facets of the Study Group in which she is a member. She earned a Master’s Degree in Education at the University of Houston. She recently retired from self-employment and is now devoting her energies to endeavors near and dear to her heart.
